Check that the
drive belt
has not become twisted during installation
by
turning
the
gyro
shaft
clockwise.
The
motor
should rotate clockwise
also.
Reach
under
the
sides
of
the
mounting plate and
check that the drive belt
is in
the
groove
of
the
gyro
pulley
and
motor
pulley.
5.
Check the
spring
tension
on
the drive belt
(see
paragraph
5-29).
NOTE
Check that the
drive belt
microswitch (located
against
the
motor
mounting
plate)
has
not
been
tripped
while
adjusting
the
drive
belt
tension.
6.
Replace
the
access
panel
(paragraph
5-33).
7.
Centrifuges
with
serial number
8601093
and lower
only: replace
the
nut
securing
the
gyro
Imbalance bracket
and
perform
the
Imbalance calibration
procedure.
Centri/ugcs
with
serial number
8601094
and
aboue: perform
the imbalance calibration
for
the
specific
model.
