If
the
pulley
is
secured
with
set
screws:
a. Apply
Loctite® #222
to
the
set
screws.
b.
Using
the
side of the
pulley
height
gauge
(PN
07831)
marked
GYRO,
measure
the
correct distance
between
the
gyro
and
the
pulley (see figure
5-10).
c.
While
rocking
the
pulley
back and
forth
on
the
shaft, alternately
tighten
the
set
screws
so
that
each
screw seats
properly
on
the flat of the shaft
(see
figure
5-11).
NOTE: THE GROOVE ON THE
MOTOR
PULLEY IS MOUNTED
AWAY FROM
THE MOTOR
WHILE THE GROOVE ON THE
GYRO PULLEY IS MOUNTED
TOWARDS THE
GYRO.
