Centrifuges ONLY:
NOTE
Some
T6000(B)
Centrifuges
were
manufactured
with
a
temperature
sensor
installed,
if
so,
remove
the
temperature
sensor as
explained below.
If
a
rubber
bumper
is installed,
proceed
to
step
15.
a.
From inside
the
rotor
chamber,
remove
the
temperature
sensor
and
grommet
(located in
the
bottom
of the
rotor
chamber to
the
right
of
the
gyro
assembly).
Discard
the
temperature sensor
and
grommet.
b.
Install
rubber
bumper
(PN 68838)
into
hole.

Install
the Belt Switch
Junction
P.C.
Assembly
(PN
07941)
as
follows:
NOTE
Depending on
the
centrifuge serial
number,
there
may
or
may
not
be
a
Belt
Switch
Junction
P.C.
Board
Assembly
installed.
a.
If
the
centrifuge does not have
a
Belt Switch
Junction
P.C.
Board
Assembly.
disconnect
connector
P6
from the
jumper
In the
wiring
harness.
Discard
jumper
then
proceed
to
step b.
If
the
centrifuge
has
a
Belt Switch
Junction
P.C.
Board
Assembly, proceed
to Section
c.

the left

the

on
the
front
panel.
Secure
board
in
place
using
the
four
lockwashers (PN
61711)
and
screws
(60930)
supplied.

P6
to
Belt Switch
Junction
P.C.
Assembly.

Installation
1.
Remove
the
four screws located
on
the left
side
of the
centrifuge
that
secure
the
access
panel,
then
remove
the
panel.
NOTE
The
lower
left
screw
toward the
rear
of the
centrifuge
has
a grounding
lockwashcr
that
must
be
replaced
when reinstalling
the
access
panel.
2.
Disconnect
P12
from the
optical
pick-up
P.C.
assembly
on
top
of the
motor.
3.
Remove
the
screw
(and clear
Teflon*
washer)
that
secures
the
optical
pick-up
P.C.
assembly
to
the
motor.
Discard
the
optical
pick-up
P.C.
assembly
only—retain
the
Teflon®
washer and
screw.
