APPLICATIONS
ADDING PREAMPS TO CREATE MORE LISTENING ZONES
In the ultimate Multi-Zone system, you connect individual stereo preampliers
(or a single component multi-zone/multi-source preamplier) to the BusMatrix™
inputs of SC16-50. These independent input signals are then routed to the
appropriate amplier channels via the IP Conguration and Setup Tool creating
completely independent listening zones.
Multi-Zone systems enable listeners located in the separate zones to
simultaneously listen to different source components as shown in Figure 6.
This example also has the SC16-50’s High/Low Cut output feature setup to
provide satellite speaker amplication (Low Cut from 50 watt channels 13 and 14)
and subwoofer amplication (High Cut from 100 watt channel 15) for zone 7.
