3.7. ADJUSTING THE BRAKE LEVERS
The Riprock has brake levers which can be adjusted for reach if your child has small hands
and/or it is difficult for your child to squeeze the brake levers.

The hand brake is pre-adjusted at the factory. If needed, the brake lever reach can be
adjusted by turning the thumbwheel between the grip and the lever (A).
When adjusting reach, be sure that the lever is not able to touch the grip when the brake
is applied (B).
Your Authorized Specialized Retailer should perform any necessary additional adjustments.
WARNING: Correctly adjusted brakes are critical for your safety. Brake
adjustments can be difficult to do correctly due to their multi-adjustment
nature. If you are unfamiliar with adjusting disc brakes, they should be set up
and/or adjusted by your Authorized Specialized Retailer.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, install the front (white) reflector on the handlebar (A) and the
rear (red) reflector on the seatpost (B).
