We recommend that these components only be
replaced with original spare parts.
If the inspection shows that the hydraulics is partially
or totally obstructed by solid material contained in
the fluid being conveyed, we recommend that you
carry out a thorough cleaning using a jet of water
under pressure. To clean the empty space between
the rotor and the shield of the oil chamber, the jet of
water can be channelled into the outlet of the pump
body.
For complete cleaning, however, it is necessary to
remove the rotor.

6.3. TROUBLE-SHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
1 - The motor does not run
A) Check that the electrical
energy power supply is present
B) A fuse has blown
C) There are open or dirty contacts
in the protection devices
D) The rotor is blocked
E) The thermal protection
has been triggered
B) Replace the fuse
C) Clean or replace the contact
involved
D) Eliminate the cause
of the block
E) It is automatically reactivated
2 - The motor operates
correctly but does
not pump water
A) Check valve blocked
B) Piping clogged
A) Clean the valve and check to
make sure it functions correctly
B) Identify the cause of the
obstruction and eliminate it
3 - The pump flow rate
is reduced
A) Obstructed rotor, valve,
or piping
B) Liquid level too low
C) Incorrect power supply voltage
D) Incorrect rotation direction
(three-phase motor)
A) Identify the obstruction
and eliminate it
B) Switch off the pump
immediately
C) Take the voltage to the levels
shown on the plate
D) Invert the phases
4 - The thermal protection
has triggered
A) The rotor is blocked
B) The temperature of the liquid
is too high
A) Eliminate the cause
of the block
B) Contact your nearest Speroni
distributor
7. Disposal of the pump
When a worn or damaged pump can no longer be
used and is beyond repair, dispose of it in full respect
for the local regulations.
IMPORTANT!
Never leave any pump components
in the environment;
always dispose of them properly.
