Setting the SPT-C1/SPT-C2 Addressing mode, IP Address, Netmask and
Gateway
If you are connecting the appliance to a LAN, you will probably need to change the IP
address information. Obtain an unused IP address, netmask, and default router from your
IT department.
• Use a communication program SSH (secure shell) over the Ethernet administration
port to the SPT-C2 default IP address
• The SPT-C2 default IP address is 192.168.0.100, with a netmask of
255.255.255.0
Use the appropriate method to change the appliance settings for your model:
SPT-C2
• To configure locally, attach a USB keyboard and VGA monitor to the appliance
• The appliance should be powered off, before the devices are connected.
• Use the blue VGA connector for the monitor.
• Use one of the black USB 2.0 or blue USB 3.0 connectors for the keyboard.
Note: The VGA monitor must be plugged in at the initial power-up in order to be
detected. The video will not display, if the VGA monitor is first plugged in after the initial
power-up. After the initial power-up, with the VGA monitor plugged in, the monitor may
be removed / re-attached as needed.

PT-C1 Rev J (and later)
• Attach a USB keyboard and DVI monitor to the appliance (use the white DVI-D port).
• It is recommended that these devices are connected while the appliance is
powered off.
• Use one of the black USB 2.0 or blue USB 3.0 connectors for the keyboard.
• If you do not have a DVI monitor, use the blue VGA port.
SPT-C1 Rev letters prior to J
• Attach a USB keyboard and DVI monitor to the appliance (use the blue DVI-I port).
• It is recommended that these devices are connected while the appliance is
powered off.
• Use one of the black USB 2.0 connectors for the keyboard.
• If you do not have a DVI monitor, use the supplied DVI to VGA adapter.
All SPT-C1 models
