Re-assemble the caliper body halves and re-install the caliper
body bolts. Use a torque wrench with a 5 mm hex bit socket to
tighten the caliper body bolts to 8.5-10 N·m (75-90 in-lb).

Re-install the compression fitting and brake hose onto the
caliper by hand. Use a torque wrench with an 8 mm flare nut
crowfoot to tighten the compression fitting to 4.9-5.4 N·m
(43-48 in-lb).

Insert the Bleed Block into the caliper in place of the brake
pads.
You will need to bleed your brakes before re-installing
the brake pads.

Clean the assembled caliper with alcohol and a clean rag to
remove any brake fluid.
Overhauling the caliper introduces a small amount of air into the system, so at this point it is necessary to bleed the brakes for
optimal performance. See the section, “Avid Brake Bleed Procedure” for instructions.
