7.3 Ammeter fitting position

Always fit ammeters in the position shown in Figure 7-2.
7.4 Fitting
The ammeters must always be disconnected from the supply during fitting or removal!
Type 8403/2
• Snap the ammeter onto type TS 35 mounting rails
or
• Screw it to a mounting plate (max. tightening torque 1.2 Nm).
Type 8405/2 with fitting set for snap-on fixing - Ref. 84 408 05 29 0
• Secure the fixing plate with 2 screws to the back of the enclosure (max. tightening tor-
que 1.2 Nm).
• Snap the ammeter onto a type TS 35 mounting rail.
