SURFLINK REMOTE CONTROL: SETUP

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: Z Series, 3 Series wireless, Xino wireless, Wi Series

ENABLING SURFLINK REMOTE CONTROL IN INSPIRE

1. Launch Inspire 2014.3 or higher.

2. Connect and detect hearing aids to the fitting computer via the

appropriate programming accessories. Refer to the Boots and

Cables Programming Guide available via Inspire Online for additional

information regarding connecting the hearing aids.

3. Select New Session on the Get Started Screen and select Start.

4. Select Accessories on the left navigation bar.

5. Select Remote Control under SurfLink Accessories.

6. Select the appropriate faceplate: Advanced, Intermediate, or Basic.

NOTE: Default is Advanced.

7. Enter the SurfLink Remote Address (located on the back of the

SurfLink Remote) under Remote Control Syncing.

8. Select Sync.

NOTE: The hearing aids and SurfLink Remote are now synced.

9. For Advanced Remote Control, select a Favorite Button Configuration

from the drop down menu. Options include:

» None

» Stop/Start Audio Stream (default)

» iQ Boost

» Jump to memory 4

» MultiFlex Tinnitus On/Off (only available for the Z Series microRIC

312)

10. If also using a SurfLink Media Device, refer to the SurfLink Media Setup

QuickTIP available via Inspire online for additional information.
