OPERATION
Appliance description
This appliance with full electronic control and output matching
keeps the outlet temperature constant. The water is heated by
the electronic control unit with motorised valve to precisely the
selected temperature. This occurs regardless of the inlet tem-
perature.
If the appliance is operated with preheated water and the inlet
temperature exceeds the chosen set temperature, a warning mes
-
sage appears on the display. The water is not heated further.
You can save and quickly call up different temperatures. The ECO
function limits the flow rate. The appliance has childproofing
functions, a wellness shower program, automatic water volume
control, dynamic anti-scalding protection, and permanent tem
-
perature limiting. The backlight switches off automatically with
no intervention (user adjustable switch off time). As soon as water
flows through the appliance, or you make a change on the dis-
play or mini wireless remote control, the backlight switches on
automatically.
Prerequisites for use of extended functions (weather data, in
-
ternet radio, app-based operation) with “DHEConnect”: WLAN
802.11, broadband internet connection, registration with email
address, terms of use and data protection consent agreement
(www.stiebel-eltron.com/terms-of-use/dhe).
The "DHE Connect" appliance has an integrated loudspeaker.
Alternatively, an external Bluetooth
®
loudspeaker can also be
used. In addition, it is also possible to output music from a mobile
terminal device to the integrated loudspeaker in the DHEConnect.
Heating system
The bare wire heating system is enclosed within a pressure-tested
plastic jacket. The heating system with its stainless steel internal
indirect coil is suitable for hard and soft water areas and is largely
insusceptible to scale build-up. The heating system ensures rapid
and efficient DHW provision.
Note
The appliance is equipped with an air detector that
largely prevents damage to the heating system. If, dur-
ing operation, air is drawn into the appliance, the ap-
pliance shuts down for one minute, thereby protecting
the heating system.
