4. INSTALLATION
• The charging base (A) with satellite reference station (B) must be positioned in an area where
the sky is fully visible. If obstacles such as dense foliage trees, hedges, boundary walls, metal
fences, buildings and reective surfaces like glass or metal walls are present, the charging base with
satellite reference station must be installed away from these disturbing elements, in a position where
the sky is fully visible.
NOTE: The sky is considered fully visible when clear at an angle of at least 120 degrees in all
directions.
• If the charging base (A) with satellite reference station (B) is not positioned in an area where the
sky is fully visible, the satellite reference station (B) must be removed from the charging base (A)
and installed in an area where the sky is fully visible. The satellite reference station (B) must be
positioned above disturbing elements such as dense foliage trees, hedges, boundary walls, metal
fences, buildings and reective surfaces such as glass or metal walls. The connection to an electrical
outlet may be required (see Par. 4.5.2).
