English 18 Storing the Hedge Trimmer and Charger

18.1 Hedge Trimmer
WARNING
Store the hedge trimmer indoors in a dry, secure place that
is inaccessible to children and other unauthorized users,
@ 6.4. Improper storage can result in unauthorized use and
damage to the hedge trimmer, @ 6.4. Remove the charger
from the wall outlet once charging is complete.
WARNING
If the hedge trimmer is damp or wet, dry it thoroughly before
storing to reduce the risk of short circuit and electric shock,
@ 6.4.
WARNING
High temperatures may cause the integrated battery to
generate heat, rupture, leak, ignite or explode, resulting in
severe or fatal personal injury or property damage, @ 6.5.
Use and store the hedge trimmer only within an ambient
temperature range of 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C),
@ 6.5. Never store the hedge trimmer in direct sunlight or
inside a vehicle in hot weather, @ 6.5.
When storing the hedge trimmer:
► Switch off the hedge trimmer, @ 13.2.
► Remove the activation key, @ 12.2.
► Clean the hedge trimmer, @ 19.1.
► Clean the cutting blades, @ 19.2.
► Store the hedge trimmer indoors in a dry and secure
location, out of the reach of children and other
unauthorized persons.
► Store the activation key away from the hedge trimmer in a
safe place that is inaccessible to children and other
unauthorized users.
► Protect the hedge trimmer against dampness and
corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing
salts.
► For maximum battery life, store the hedge trimmer at an
ambient temperature between 50°F and 68°F (10°C and
20°C) with a charge between 40% and 60% (2green
LEDs).
► If the hedge trimmer is used or stored at ambient
temperatures above 86°F (30°C), its runtime and
performance may be reduced.
► Never store the hedge trimmer with the activation key
inserted.
► Before storing, always unplug the charger from the wall
outlet and remove the charger from the hedge trimmer.
18.2 Charger
WARNING
Store the charger indoors, in a dry, secure place that is
inaccessible to children and other unauthorized users, @ 7.
Improper storage can result in unauthorized use, misuse or
damage to the charger that can lead to fire and otherwise
increase the risk of severe personal injury and property
damage, @ 7.
To properly store the charger:
► Disconnect the charger from the wall outlet.
► Disconnect the charger from the hedge trimmer.
► Store the charger indoors in a dry and secure location.
► Keep it out of the reach of children and other unauthorized
persons.
