3. Connecting the STIHL engine
analyzer
3.1 To a power socket
. Select the appropriate power plug adapter and
push into the slot (1) of the power adapter – the
adapter must engage audibly
. Connect the connecting cable (1) with the plug
(B) of MDG 1 and the jack (2) of the power
adapter and screw the plug connections into
place
. Plug the power adapter into the wall socket
3.2 To battery adapter for STIHL AAD 1
analyzer
. Connect the connecting cable (1) with the plug
(B) of MDG 1 and the jack (2) of the AAD 1 and
screw the plug connections into place
3.3 Self-test
Once the MDG 1 is connected to the power supply,
a self-test runs – LED (1) is continuously green:
Self-test completed.
