: Use the assembly tool (2)
1117 890 0900 to attach the
brake spring (1) to the anchor pin
(arrow).
– Reassemble remaining parts in
reverse order.

Before fitting the sprocket cover,
pull the hand guard up until it
engages. The chain brake is now
open and can be slipped over the
sprocket.
– Check operation of the chain
brake, b 7
– Remove the sprocket cover and
bar and chain, b 5.1
– Troubleshooting, b 4.2
: Turn the spur gear (2) clockwise
until the tensioner slide (1) makes
contact on the right and the screw
(arrow) is revealed.

: Pull the complete chain tensioner
(1) out with a suitable tool.

: Examine the thrust pad (1), spur
gear (2), adjusting screw (3) and
tensioner slide (4) and replace if
necessary.
