– Reconnect the battery male connector (3)
to the plug connection on the truck.
CAUTION
There is a risk of short circui

cables are damaged.
Do not crush the battery cabl

closing the battery cover

battery cover.

– Close the battery c
over completely. When
doing so, ensure th
at no cables are crushed
between the chassi
s and the cover.
Equalising charging to preserve the
battery capacity
Equalising charges ensure that unevenly
charged battery cells are evenly charged
again. This preserves the service life of the
battery and the battery capacity.
An equalisi
ng charge should be carried out in
accordance
with the battery manufacturer's
instructio
ns several times a month after the
normal charg
ing process.
