Why does my Stuart Turner techflo qt Water Pump keep cycling on and off?
    • C
      Carl BondAug 2, 2025
If your Stuart Turner Water Pump cycles frequently, it could be due to a leak in the system, low pressure in the pressure vessel, or debris under the non-return valve sealing face. Check tap washers, toilet valve washers, and pipe joints for leaks. Inspect the pressure in the pressure vessel. Try running the pump at full flow to flush away any debris. If that doesn't work, remove, clean, or replace the non-return valve.

How to troubleshoot a Stuart Turner Water Pump that will not start?
    • L
      Lisa JohnsonAug 8, 2025
If your Stuart Turner Water Pump won't start, begin by checking the electrical supply, including the fuse and circuit breaker. Inspect the wiring connections. If the motor is buzzing, switch off the power and contact Stuart Turner. If not buzzing, turn off the power, release system water pressure, and then turn the power back on. If the pump still doesn't start, contact Stuart Turner. Also, ensure the pump is correctly positioned and wait for the thermotrip to auto-reset. Verify that the duty point and run time are within the specified limits.

What causes a Stuart Turner techflo qt to run continuously when outlets are closed?
    • B
      Bonnie RussellAug 12, 2025
If your Stuart Turner Water Pump continues to run even when all outlets are closed, it could be due to a leak in the system, a damaged reed switch, P.C.B, or pressure switch, or a jammed flow switch. Check tap washers, toilet valve washers, and pipe joints for leaks. If the pump continues to run, it indicates a closed circuit in either the flow switch reed, pressure switch, or P.C.B. Contact Stuart Turner. Remove outlet hoses and check that the flow switch sits in the lowest position. Check the float for free movement.

What to do if there is no hot water with my Stuart Turner techflo qt Water Pump?
    • A
      Anthony YoungAug 17, 2025
If you have no hot water when using your Stuart Turner Water Pump, the issue might stem from an air-locked water feed or a non-operating heat source. Try venting the hot water pump to remove any trapped air. Make sure the cold feed to the hot water cylinder is working. Also, check the water level in the cold water tank and ensure all stopcocks and isolating valves are open. Verify that the boiler is switched on, the cylinder thermostat is working, and the immersion heater is functioning correctly. Confirm that the cylinder contains hot water and that the tank volume is adequate. Consult the manufacturer's instructions for the thermostatic mixer valve.
