  If your Stuart Turner Water Pump runs but no liquid is being pumped, there might be several reasons: * The pump could be air-locked; try bleeding the pipework and pump to clear any trapped air. * Ensure that the supply valves are turned on to provide a liquid supply. * Verify that the connections are correctly oriented and that the outlet is not restricted or blocked. * Confirm the pump has a flooded suction and is primed. If there's a suction lift, install a Stuart footvalve/strainer and ensure the suction is airtight. Prime the pump and suction pipe.

  If your Stuart Turner Water Pump will not start, here are a few things to check: * First, examine the power supply to ensure it's working. * Then, check the fuse. * Also, the integral motor thermotrip may have activated. In this case, check that the circuit breaker is set and examine the wiring connections. If the motor is making a buzzing sound, switch off the power and contact Stuart Turner. Allow time for the thermotrip to automatically reset, and then verify that the duty point and run time are within the specified limits.
