18. Inactivity
If the unit remains inactive for longer periods of time, it is necessary to drain any condensate
residue and carry out a general cleaning procedure.
To replace the motor of the free-cooling damper (if present), unscrew the 6 fixing screws of this
damper on the side panels. Looking at the evaporating unit from the front side, two screws are on
the left panel near the bottom and rear side, the remaining four are two at the bottom and two at the
top of the right panel near the rear side. Then, pull the damper towards the front side and draw it
down. Then, unscrew the motor and replace it.
The inner parts of the evaporating unit, must be cleaned with a liquid detergent and compressed
air, with a pressure not higher than 4 bar, with the unit properly earthed.
Air filters, must be removed from the unit and cleaned. Should you decide to replace the filter, the
spare filter must have the same thickness and density specifications as the original.
A set of spare filters may be requested from STULZ's service department.
To change the air filter, remove the bottom panel of the evaporating unit and draw the air filter out.
