DOOR PANEL INSTALLATION
Remove the two pieces of mounting hardware attached to
the front of the door an d set aside. Place the door panel
lying face down on a pro tected surface to ensure that the
front is not scratch ed or damaged.
Position the plastic template as indicated on th e template.
One side is for a right-hinge unit and the other side is f or a
left-hinge unit. Verify that you are using the correct side.
Once you have located the proper position of the
template, mark the pilot holes indicated on the te mplate.
Remove the template and drill the pilot holes. Nex t, place
the bottom holes of the bracket over the pre-drilled holes
and secure with the #8 x
1
/2" screws provided. After the
bracket has been secured to the pilot holes, drill the
remaining bracke t holes and secure the bracket to the
panel with screws provided.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dimensions are based on a
1
/8" (3)
reveal. A reveal of up to
1
/4" (6) is possible. Panel dimen-
sions must be adjusted accordingly.
Exercise caution when drilling holes for mounting
hardware. This is especially critical with inset panels.

efore attaching th e door panel to the door, place a screw
in the center of the upper and lower mounting positi ons,
just enough that the slotted holes on the hinge side d oor
panel bracket will slide under the heads. These po sitioning
screws will suppor t the door panel during installatio n and
adjustment. Refer to the illustrations below.
Install the door panel by engaging the tabbed brac ket to
the handle side of the door first and then sliding the hinge
side mounting bracket onto the positioning screws on the
hinge side of the door. The panel ca n be adjusted

up and down and s ide to side.
Once the door panel is in place and adjusted correctly,
attach the remaini ng #10 x
1
/2" screws to the hing e side
mounting bracket and install the magnetic caps a s shown
in the illustration below.
As the reveal between cabinets and the unit decreases,
the potential exists for severe finger pinching if fingers
are placed in the opening when the door is closing.
