Bucket Inversion and Replacement
CAUTION
Stop the machine on a flat location with good
footing. When working together with others,
always be sure to exchange signals and pay
thorough attention to safety.
Always wear protective gear (protective
eyewear and safety shoes, etc.) when
working with a hammer.
After inverting or replacing the bucket, adjust
the bucket backlash and check bucket
operation before use.
Removal
Place the back of the bucket ① parallel to the
ground.
Remove the bucket link ② side locking pin ③
and take out the pin.
Remove the arm ④ side locking pin ⑤ and
take out the pin.
If a pin is hard to remove, there is a load on
the pin.
When removing the pins, be careful not to
damage the attached O-rings or dust seals.

Keep dirt and mud off the removed pins.
Removal
Remove the ring ① with a screwdriver ②,
then take out the locking pin ③.

Installation
Insert the locking pin ③, then lock the ring

Bucket Inversion
Remove the bucket.
Raise the arm slightly and with the bucket in
the same attitude, invert it 180°.
Install the bucket.
After inverting the bucket, the machine
can work as an excavator, but only the bucket
lever operating directions (for digging and dirt
removal) are the opposite of those for a backhoe.
