Unlock and open the foot pedal to begin gate frame installation.
Lay gate frame on floor with foot pedal side flush against wall.
Locate pressure pad near foot pedal and tighten firmly to wall.
Pull upward and into doorway, rotating gate frame upwards into door frame.
Step down on foot pedal to lock the gate frame into position.
Rotate top adjustment wheels until gate frame arms are level and even.
Wall cup installation is mandatory for top of stairs use.
Squeeze release latches on foot pedal and lift up to remove the gate frame.
Place wall cup center over outline, mark drill holes through center.
Drill pilot holes, insert wall anchors, and attach adhesive pads to wall cups.
Remove backing from adhesive pads and attach them to the back of each wall cup.
Align wall cups over anchors, ensuring they face up, and press firmly to the wall.
Screw wall cups into the wall to firmly secure them.
Repeat gate frame installation steps; pressure pads rest within wall cups.
Lower the gate door onto the top and bottom hinges of the gate frame.
Slide the gate door across the opening and push the handle to latch and lock it.
Use adjustment wheels to extend pressure pads until gate is tight, secure, and level with baseboards.
Press release buttons on both sides of the door handle and pull back to open.
Slide the door closed until the handle clicks into the latch to close.
Use the release button on the underside of the gate frame to slide it to a smaller width.
Check hardware, avoid damaged parts, and clean with a damp cloth.
