Ideally, the moisture content should be between 40-60% for aerobic microbes to thrive. Try adding Sun-Mar Microbe Mix to address this. Another possible cause is a room temperature below 55°F/13°C. Install a heat source to raise the temperature, ensuring it remains above 55°F/13°C to maintain composting activity.
