• DO NOT USE until unit is completely as sem bled
and installed according to instructions.
• WEAREYEPROTECTIONAlways wear impact-
resistant eye and face protection when operating or
performing maintenance on this tool.
•
DONOTWEARgloves, necktie or loose cloth ing.
•
BE SURE DRILL BIT or cutting tool is se cure ly
locked in chuck.
• USE RECOMMENDED SPEED for drill acces-
sory and workpiece material.
• ADJUST TABLE OR DEPTH STOP to prevent
drill ing into table work surface.
•
NEVER USE YOUR HANDS TO HOLD work-
piece during drilling. Clamp workpiece, use a vise or
brace against column to prevent rotation.
•
NEVER OPERATE drill press if any part is
dam aged or broken until it is properly repaired
or re placed.
•
NEVER PLACE YOUR FINGERS in a position
where drill or cutting tool could contact them if part
should shift unexpectedly.
•
NEVERPERFORMLAYOUT,assembly or setup
work on drill press with cutting tool rotating.
• SHUT OFF POWER, remove drill or cutting tool,
and clean table before leaving machine.
