2 Product Introduction
2.1 Intended Usage
SG40KTL (It will be referred to as inverter hereinafter unless otherwise
specified) which is a 3-phase string inverter without transformer, is a crucial unit
between the PV strings and utility grid in the PV power system.
Inverter is dedicated to converting direct current power generated by the PV
modules into alternating current, which conforms to parameters of local utility
grid, and feeds it into the utility grid. The intended usage of the inverter is
illustrated in Fig. 2-1.
Inverter CANNOT be connected to the PV modules, the positive or
negative terminal of which needs to be grounded.
