Overview

The Sunlighten Solo® System is a portable infrared sauna designed for personal use, offering a wellness journey through infrared therapy. It features patented SoloCarbon® heaters and ultra-low EMF engineering, all encased in a sleek Bamboo Carbon facade.

Function Description

The Solo System provides infrared heat therapy, which is most effective when in contact with bare skin. Users lie down within the two domes (upper and lower) on a Solopad, and a Bamboo Carbon Curtain is draped over the opening of the upper dome to retain heat. The system allows for adjustable temperature and session duration, and it includes chromotherapy lighting for an enhanced experience. The chromotherapy feature utilizes different colors, each with specific vibrational frequencies, to help balance the body's energy points. The Solopad also provides independent infrared heat.

Usage Features

Assembly and Setup: The Solo System is designed for easy assembly and can be set up and disassembled quickly. It should be placed on a heat-resistant, solid surface, preferably the floor. If an elevated surface is used, it must support the combined weight of the user and the system (35 kg). The Solopad should be covered with a fitted Bamboo Carbon cover or towel. The two Solo domes are positioned on the Solopad, and cords from the Solo controller are connected to each dome. The Solo controller is then plugged into an electrical outlet. The control box should be placed within easy reach. A Bamboo Carbon Curtain is used to cover the upper dome opening to retain heat.

Basic Operation:

  • Temperature Setting: Users set the desired temperature on the Control Box. For the first session, it is recommended not to exceed level five (5).
  • Warm-up Time: 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the temperature setting.
  • Session Time: Can be set for up to 12 hours at 1-hour intervals or up to 60 minutes at 5-minute intervals at the highest setting. Each dome has separate temperature adjustments.
  • Entering the Sauna: Slide the Upper Dome back, sit on the Solopad, and gently pull the Upper Dome over the body. Avoid touching the hot heaters.
  • Pillow: Position the head on the pillow outside the domes, covered with a towel to absorb sweat.
  • Exiting the Sauna: If feeling faint or dizzy, exit immediately. Otherwise, when the session ends, the heater output stops. Push back the upper dome and turn off the controller.

Chromotherapy:

  • The system includes a chromotherapy remote control.
  • The chromotherapy light strip connector plugs into the control box during installation.
  • The remote must be pointed at the control box within a 90cm radius to operate the lights.
  • Users can adjust light intensity, turn lights on/off, select specific colors (Green, Red, Blue, White), or choose transition modes (Flash, Strobe, Fade, Smooth).
  • Care must be taken to ensure chromotherapy wires are not pinched by the domes to prevent light strip failure.

Solopad Operation:

  • The Solopad has its own remote for power, temperature, and time settings.
  • Temperature can be set to low, medium, or high, with a range of 43°C to 65°C.
  • Time can be set in minutes or hours.

Sauna Protocol:

  • Pre-Sauna: Hydrate with water, pre-heat the sauna for approximately 15 minutes, and use Bamboo Carbon Towels to absorb sweat.
  • Sauna Session: Start with 20-30 minute sessions at level 4 every other day, gradually increasing to 40-minute daily sessions in the optimal temperature range. Sweating may not occur in early sessions but will increase with regular use. Pure Sweat amplifying cream can be used for added intensity.
  • Post-Sauna: Drink at least 750ml of water or electrolyte, dry off with a Bamboo Carbon Towel, and cool down naturally or with a shower.

Medical Precautions:

  • The manual emphasizes consulting a physician before use, especially for individuals with health conditions, those on medication, the elderly, children, pregnant women, or those with specific medical issues like cardiovascular problems, diabetes, hemophilia, or fever.
  • Alcohol and drug abuse are contraindications due to increased heart rate and impaired judgment.
  • Avoid use with recent joint injuries (within 48 hours) or communicable skin diseases.
  • Metal implants generally reflect infrared waves, but physician consultation is advised.
  • Discontinue use immediately if pain or discomfort is experienced.

Maintenance Features

General Care:

  • Unplug the power cord after each use.
  • Wipe down the Solopad and pillow with a slightly damp cloth immersed in a mixture of Tri-Nature Stain Removal and warm soapy water.
  • Avoid getting the control box or power cords wet during cleaning.
  • Always keep the Solopad covered with a fitted Bamboo Carbon cover during use to keep it clean.
  • After use, fully extend the domes and allow them to cool completely before collapsing them for storage.
  • The control unit can be disconnected from the pad, and both can be stored in their original packaging in a cool place.

Materials:

  • The outer material is made from Sunlighten Bamboo Carbon, a sustainable fiber with minerals that provide anti-bacterial properties, odor absorption, and improved air quality. It is eco-friendly, easy to clean, and certified non-toxic.
  • Tri-Care Natural Cleaning products and anti-bacterial Bamboo Carbon towels are available for purchase.
