Chapter 5 Troubleshooting Guidance
5.1 Display white screen, black screen, blurry screen, etc.
a. Confirm whether it is a software failure and upgrade the software first;
b. Disassemble the machine and check whether the LCD interface is assembled properly, otherwise reassemble it;
c. Cross-check whether the LCD monomer is defective. If there is a problem with the monomer, replace the LCD;
d. Check the relevant circuits and surrounding components of the LCD interface.
5.2 Touch failure, slow response, etc.
a. Confirm whether it is a software failure and upgrade the software first;
b. Check whether the camera assembly is in good condition, otherwise reassemble it;
c. Cross-verify whether the TP unit is defective. If the TP is defective, replace it with a new TP;
d. Check whether the TP interface is in good condition, otherwise replace the interface;
e. Check TP related circuits and components around the interface.
5.3 Failed to scan 1D code
a. Confirm whether it is a software failure and upgrade the software first;
b. Disassemble the machine and check whether the code scanning interface is assembled, otherwise reassemble it;
c. Cross-check whether the code scanning cable is defective. If the scanning cable is defective, replace the code
scanning cable;
d. Cross-verify whether the code scanning unit is defective. If the unit is defective, replace the code scanning unit;
e. Check the code scanning related circuits and components around the interface
5.4 The camera is defective (cannot scan barcode)
a. Check whether it is a software failure and upgrade the software first;
b. Check whether the camera is fully assembled and disassemble it again before testing;
c. Check the cross-validation to see if the camera unit is defective;
d. Check the camera interface and related circuits on the motherboard
5.5 The speaker has no sound, noise, low sound, etc.
a. Check whether the speaker leads are in good condition;
b. Check whether the speaker leads are welded well;
c. Cross-verify whether the speaker body is in good condition;
d. Check the circuit related to the speaker on the motherboard
5.6 NFC card swiping failed
a. Check whether the NFC antenna contact point is dirty;
b. Check whether the NFC antenna is damaged;
c. Check the NFC antenna matching circuit;
d. Replace the NFC chip to verify whether the chip is defective.
5.7 Does not boot, crashes, etc.
a. Confirm whether it is a software problem and try to upgrade first;
b. Disassemble the machine, check whether the battery interface is connected properly, and measure whether the
battery voltage is normal;
