Bolt front axles with #10-32 bolts and nuts. Mount axle plates to chassis, insert bolts from outside, and tighten with Nylock nuts.
Mount drive motors using Loctite and M5 screws. Install sprockets on motor shafts with Loctite on setscrews.
Mount tension blocks with #6 hardware. Slide rear axle into tension blocks, aligning with flipper arm motor.
Install back-handle strap. Prepare for tread installation and tensioning by loosely fitting components.
Sandwich rubber between plastic sides. Bolt together and press in the center sleeve bearing.
Assemble drive wheels using sprockets and rubber with teeth. Use 2" hardware in center bolt holes to attach sprocket.
Slide thin bronze washer on back axle. Insert key into shaft slot; light filing may be needed for ease of assembly.
Line up flipper arm sprocket with motor sprocket. Measure shaft end-to-chassis distance and adjust for equal spacing.
The easiest way to cut chain is with a chain breaker tool. Follow tool instructions for proper use.
Clamp chain in vise, grind/file pin ends, then drive pin through chain to separate links.
Follow schematics for RC connection. Set LiPo battery DIP switches and consult support pages for wiring, soldering, and crimping.
Mount robot on blocks for testing. Verify motor controller DIP switch settings for R/C mode operation.
Connect bind plug, power robot, press transmitter Bind button, and release when receiver LED is illuminated.
