4. Remove the bolts and fasteners.
5. Unhook the hooks and remove the
left side lower footboard, under
cover and left side leg shield 1.
NOTE: To remove the left side leg
shield 1, push the hook 2 located
inside the front side of leg shield and
pull it towards you.
TRANSMISSION OIL
REPLACEMENT
1. Place the motorcycle on level
ground on the center stand. Hold
the motorcycle vertically and
check the transmission oil.
2. Remove the oil filler plug 1.
3. Remove the drain plug 2 from the
bottom of the engine and drain the
transmission oil into a drain pan.
4. Reinstall the drain plug 2.
Tighten the plug securely with a
wrench.
5. Remove the oil level plug 3 and
inspect the oil level. If the level is
below the level hole, add oil until
oil flows from the level hole.
6. Tighten the oil level plug 3 and oil
filler plug 1.
