INNER TUBE AND OUTER TUBE 2)
Inspect the inner tube sliding surface for any SY
scuffing and check for bend. Inspect the outer tube ae
sliding surface for any scuffing.
DAMPER ROD RING
Inspect the damper rod ring for wear and damage.
REASSEMBLY
AND
REMOUNTING
Reassemble
and
remount
the
front
fork
in
the
reverse
order
of
disassembly
and
removal.
Pay
attention
to
the
following
points:
INNER
TUBE
METAL

e
Hold
the
inner
tube
vertically
and
clean
the
metal groove.
e
Clean
the
metal
inner
and
outer
surfaces
and
install
it
to
the
metal
groove
of
the
inner
tube
as
shown.
CAUTION:
Use
special
care
to
prevent
damage
to
the
Teflon
coated
surface
of
the
Anti-friction
metal
when
mounting
it.

to
the
damper
rod
bolt.

Tighten
the
damper
rod
bolt
to
the
specified
torque.
