Extract
the
gearshift
shaft

and
remove
the
cam
driven
gear
@)
by
removing
the
screws
@).
NOTE:
When removing the cam driven gear, do not
lose gear shifting pawl @®, pin © and spring
| ©.
Remove the de-compression cam lever return
spring, then disconnect the de-compression
cable.

After removing the kick starter lever, remove
the clutch cover bolts and detach the clutch
cover by tapping with a plastic hammer.
NOTE:
Do not remove the oil filter cap at this point.
Remove the clutch spring mounting bolts
diagonally while holding the conrod with a
conrod holder.
