Descending a Hill
WARNING
Going down a hill improperly
can be hazardous.
Going down a hill improperly
can cause loss of control or
cause the ATV to overturn.
Always follow the proper pro-
cedures for going down hills as
described in this section.

WARNING
Braking on hills can be hazard-
ous.
As the LT-F400/F is four-wheel
drive, using either the front
brake alone or the rear brake
alone will actually brake all four
wheels. Therefore, any applica-
tion of the brakes will result in
braking force being applied to
the downhill wheels. This could
cause the vehicle to overturn.
Be extra careful when braking
on a hill.
