CHOKE CABLE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the choke cable play:
1. Remove the boot.
2. Loosen the lock nut 1.
3. Turn the adjuster 2 in or out to
obtain the proper amount of
outer cable free play 0.5 – 1.0
mm (0.02 – 0.04 in). Measure
choke cable free play by pull-
ing on the outer cable.
4. After adjusting the play, tighten
the lock nut 1.
5. Replace the boot.
FUEL HOSE
Replace the fuel hose every 4
years, even if it appears to be in
good condition. Damage from
aging may not always be visible.
