The headlight pattern must be adjusted to
avoid dazzling oncoming motorists and
can be set for right or left hand traffic.
LED headlights (if equipped)
You do not need to adjust the light pattern.
Halogen headlights (if equipped)
The light pattern may not be as good.
You should readjust the light pattern by
masking the headlight lens.
Left hand drive vehicle
To readjust the light pattern by masking the
headlight for left hand traffic;
1) Copy the A and B templates as shown
later in this section.
2) Transfer the template to a self-adhesive
waterproof material and cut it out.
3) Position the cutout tape at the right dis-
tance from the center mark of the head-
light lens.
Refer to the dimensions in the following
illustrations.
Right side headlight (A)

(1) Horizontal line: approximately 2.1 mm
(2) Vertical line: approximately 18.5 mm
(3) Center mark (small projection on the
inner surface of the lens)
Left side headlight (B)

(2) Vertical line: approximately 11.2 mm
(3) Center mark (small projection on the
inner surface of the lens)
