You cannot change the ignition mode to LOCK (OFF) because
there may be malfunction of the gearshift lever. Consult with
an authorized SUZUKI dealer or a qualified workshop.
• Short beep
The engine switch is
pressed with the
gearshift lever in a
position other than
“P” or “N”

The engine cannot be started. Shift the gearshift lever into “P”,
push the start switch to start the engine with depressing the
brake pedal.
• Short beep

position other than
“P” or “N” or with
depressing the
brake pedal.
