AIR FILTER CHECK AND/OR REPLACEMENT
- Remove the RH side panel as described in the rela-
tive paragraph.
- Undo the screws (1) and remove the filter cover (2).
- Remove the filter (3) and check its condition; to
clean it, blast it with compressed air from the out-
side to the inside; if it is very dirty, replace it.
- Refit everything operating in reverse order from
removal.
SPARK PLUG CHECK
Spark plug (3) gap shall be 0.028 ÷ 0.031 in.
A wider gap may cause difficulties in starting the
engine and overload the coil.
A gap that is too narrow may cause difficulties
when accelerating, when idling or poor performance
at low speed.
- Remove the cap (1).
- Insert the wrench provided (2) and remove the
spark plug (3).
