Headlight Adjustment
Use a screwdriver to adjust the vertical adjuster ○A .
Headlight aiming should be performed by an authorized SYM dealer.
Rear Shock Absorber Adjustment
This scooter is equipped with 2 rear shock absorbers ○A . Each shock absorber has 4 positions for spring
preload adjustment. The standard position is 2.
Turn the adjuster ○B anti-clockwise ○a to increase preload (harder).
Turn the adjuster clockwise ○b to decrease preload (softer).
Contact your authorized SYM dealer for adjustment.
General Lubrication
Lubricate the below parts with either engine oil or general grease in accordance with the “Periodic
Maintenance Table” (page 34) or whenever the vehicle has been operated under wet or rainy conditions.
Clean off rusty spots and wipe off any oil or grease.
Side stand
Front / rear brake lever
Throttle cables
Vehicle Data Recorder
This scooter is equipped with an ECU that can record or collect vehicle data for trouble diagnosis and
research. The data must be received by a special diagnostic tool when carrying out maintenance or
check-up. SYM will not transfer the data to any third party except:
The owner or user agrees.
Stipulated by laws.
In need of lawsuit.
For research and development, and the data is irrelevant to an individual unit or the owner.
