To configure SMTP email notification

Review the required information to configure the SMTP email notification.

Specify whether you want to configure the SMTP notification.
Do you want to configure SMTP notification? [y,n,q] (y) y
If you do not want to configure the SMTP notification, you can skip to the
next configuration option.
See “Configuring SNMP trap notification” on page 73.

Provide information to configure SMTP notification.
Provide the following information:
■ Enter the SMTP server’s host name.
Enter the domain-based hostname of the SMTP server
(example: smtp.yourcompany.com): [b,?] smtp.example.com
■ Enter the email address of each recipient.
Enter the full email address of the SMTP recipient
(example: user@yourcompany.com): [b,?] ozzie@example.com
■ Enter the minimum security level of messages to be sent to each recipient.
Enter the minimum severity of events for which mail should be
sent to ozzie@example.com [I=Information, W=Warning,
E=Error, S=SevereError]: [b,?] w

Add more SMTP recipients, if necessary.
■ If you want to add another SMTP recipient, enter y and provide the
required information at the prompt.
