Duct system
Air to and from the Combini EC is via duct system. This duct system is recommended in either galvanized
steel or semi-rigid aluminium. Short connections (max. 1 m) of flexible aluminium ducting can be used
between the duct system and the unit terminations. These must, however, be accessible for changing.
Note! Do not connect tumble dryer directly to the ventilation system.
Note! Grills for discharge/roof unit must be mounted according to building regulations in force
Connections
Use ducting and duct connectors, tee-pieces, reducers, bends etc. Secure all joints by means of special
tape or 3 pieces of self-drilling screws per joint.

Condensation/heat insulation
Insulation thickness for condensation insulation should be 25 mm, with plastic diffusion barrier. Insulation
thickness for heat insulation may be 50 mm, with plastic diffusion barrier.

Note! Remember to cover all joints well with insulation and tape.
