What to do if the engine overheats in my Takeuchi Compact Loader?
    • M
      Marie VillanuevaAug 10, 2025
If the engine of your Takeuchi Compact Loader overheats, immediately park the machine in a safe place. Check for steam coming from the closed engine hood. If steam is present, stop the engine and contact your dealer for repair. If not, run the engine at low idle to cool down the water temperature. Once the water temperature gauge LED drops into the green zone, stop the engine and allow it to cool completely. After cooling, inspect and remedy the issue by adjusting the fan belt slack, adding coolant, repairing any water leaks, cleaning the radiator fins, and removing sediment from the cooling system. If overheating persists, contact your dealer for repair.

If the battery of your Takeuchi Compact Loader goes dead, use a booster battery from another vehicle and jumper cables to start the engine.
