MAINTENANCE
1.
Loosen the lock nuts (4).
2.
T
urn the adjustment bolt (5) to move the
alternator (6) and to adjust the tension of
the fan belt (3).
·
Tighten: Clockwise
·
Loosen: Counterclockwise
3.
Tighten the lock nuts (4).
Note:
When replacing with a new belt, run
the engine at low idle speed for about 3 to 5
minutes to break in the new belt, befor
e
adjusting the tension.
