3. Choose online/offline code through menu item 29. (Select when to
transmit the ID code)
If the online/offline code function in menu item 29 is set to off, the ID
code function will be disabled.
During transmission, the device name is sent out via signaling, and
devices using the same protocol will receive the name information in
Chinese and English.
S-Meter Display
1. Enable the S meter display through menu item 50.
2. When receiving a signal, if the signal report is greater than 59, it will
display S9+ and the specific dB value.
The S meter represents the intelligibility of the voice and the strength
of the radio signal, with S9 indicating very clear voice and strong signal.
S9+20 or S9+60 indicates that the signal has reached full scale and
exceeds 20dB or 60dB.
When using a repeater, the received signal is generally fixed, so the
signal report remains largely unchanged.

When editing channel names, device names, etc., you can directly
input Chinese and English information on the device.
Press the FM key to switch languages, selecting from Pinyin,
lowercase English, uppercase English, and numbers.
Input the letters of the Pinyin using the keypad's grid, use the
up/down keys to select the range, press the Menu Button to select,
then use the up/down keys to choose the corresponding text, and press
the Menu Button to confirm the input.
