Why is my Tascam PORTASTUDIO 424 MKIII recording noisy audio?

If your Tascam Recording Equipment is recording noisy audio, ensure all mixer channel INPUT switches are in the OFF position, except for the ones you are actively using. Also, increase the volume faders of the instruments themselves. The 424 MKIII channel and master faders should not need to be at maximum levels at any time.
