LCD ERROR MESSAGES
This thermometer incorporates visual messages
as follows:
• “Hi” or “Lo” is displayed when the temperature
being measured is outside of the range of the
instrument – “Hi” when higher than 626°F (330°C)
and “Lo” when lower than -67°F (-55°C).
• “Er2” is displayed when the temperature is
exposed to rapid changes in the ambient
temperature.
• “Er3” is displayed when the ambient temperature
is below 32°F (0°C) or above 122°F (50°C). The
thermometer should be allowed plenty of time
to stabilize to the working/room temperature if
exposed to extreme temperature changes.
For all other error messages, it is necessary to reset the
thermometer. To reset, turn the thermometer off, remove the
batteries, and wait for a minimum of one minute. Then, re-
insert the batteries and turn on. If the error message remains,
please contact Customer Service for further assistance.
