Step 5
Measure the capacitance between pins 1 and 2 of
the motor plug. All readings should be 300 nF
+/10%. If the readings are not in the range, the
motor has failed and needs to be replaced.
Note: Meter must be set to nanofarad for this test.
Test 6: Interface Board Continuity
With all five plugs disconnected from the interface board, check for continuity between the pins as shown in the
following diagrams. If any of these tests fail, replace the interface board.
Note: Newer versions of the interface board have a female interface for the Motor Supply. Although testing is the
same, the numerical order of the pins will be flipped as indicated on the board itself.
