      If the Taylor Grill doesn't turn on when the fan interlock switch is ON, there are several possible causes: * The grill breaker may have tripped. Try resetting the breaker. * The grill's control voltage cord might be unplugged. Ensure the power cord is securely reseated. * The Ansul system may have tripped. Press the Ansul reset button to resolve this. * If none of these steps work, there may be an internal component failure, and you should call for service.

Clean and/or replace the release sheets. * The upper platen or lower cook surface might not be clean or have carbon buildup. Follow cleaning procedures to properly clean the grill and remove carbon buildup. * The cook time may be incorrect. Increase or decrease the cook time accordingly. * The grill's gaps might be out of specification. Refer to Pg cook time adjustment procedure.

Ensure you are following cleaning procedures to properly clean the grill and remove any carbon buildup. * The release sheet material could be dirty or worn. Try cleaning or replacing the release sheets. * The grill's gaps may be out of specification. Refer to Pg. 22 “Gap Validation and Calibration”.

Wait for the grill to reach the required temperature. * A tripped 3-phase breaker. Reset the breaker. * The 3-phase cord becoming unplugged from the wall. Reseat the 3-phase plug.

      If the Taylor Grill is not recognizing the product, consider the following: * Carbon buildup on the upper and/or lower cook surfaces may be interfering with the Auto Gap settings. Remove the carbon and clean the cook surfaces. * The grill plate may have become uneven. Refer to Pg “Gap Validation and Calibration.” * The wrong product may be in use. Ensure the correct product and settings are selected. * The grill might not be set in the Auto Product Recognition mode. Ensure the grill control is set to Auto.

      If the platen won't stay down when the Standby button is pressed on the Taylor Grill, it might be because: * The cavity where the handle latches to the latch solenoid (located at the front of the grill) is dirty. Try cleaning the handle foot and/or the latch solenoid post. * If the problem persists, there may be an internal component failure, and you should call for service.
