For optimal performance, it's recommended to use an HDMI connection. Ensure that the cable connections to both your TCL Smart TV and the device are securely fastened. Then, select the appropriate input for your cable/satellite box or antenna on the TV. Finally, select “start finding channels” and follow the on-screen instructions to perform a full channel scan.
