4.1.3 Adjust message settings
In message list screen, touch key and select Settings.
Text messages (SMS)
• Delivery
reports
Mark to request a delivery report for each
text message you send.
• Manage SIM
messages
Touch to view or manage messages on
your SIM card.
• Edit quick text
Touch to add or edit message templates.
• SMS service
centre
Touch to view or edit your SMS service
centre.
• Validity period
Touch to select SMS validity period.
• SMS storage
location
Touch to select phone or SIM card to
store messages.
• Alphabet
management
Touch to manage alphabet.
Multimedia messages (MMS)
• Group
messaging
Mark the checkbox to send a single
message to multiple recipients.
• Delivery
reports
Select to request a delivery report for
each multimedia message you send.
• Read reports
Select to request a report on whether
each recipient has read a multimedia
message sent by you.
• Send read
report
Select to request a report on whether the
multimedia message is sent out.
• Auto-retrieve
Select to download full MMS message
(including message body and attachment)
automatically to your phone. Otherwise,
download only the MMS message
header.
• Roaming auto-
retrieve
Select to download full MMS message
(including message body and attachment)
automatically when roaming. Otherwise,
download only the MMS message header
to avoid extra charges.
• Creation mode
Touch to set MMS creation mode when
composing message.
• Maximum
message size
Select to edit the message size, but it
should not be more than 300KB.
• Priority
Set MMS priority as High, Normal or
Low.
Notifications
• Notifications
Select to display message notifications
in status bar.
• Mute
Select to make phone mute as a notification
when receiving a new message.
• Select ringtone
Touch to select a ringtone as a new
message notification tone.
• Popup
notification
Select to show popup for push
notifications.
