4 MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENTS AND CHECKS

1. Connect a frequency counter to the deck as shown in 1. B4-1OLSRARRADY FY —-SBRTS.

2. Simply press POWER switch to ON to rotate the motor, 3.7 AKF—T7 MTT —111 (8kHz) HRMHOREH CHET 4,

beginning of the test tape. TREE : 3,000Hz + 30Hz (V — 7000)
4, Adjust the variable resistor (Fig. 4-2) to get the 3,000Hz + 60Hz (V — 5000)
adjustment value of 3,000Hz to 3,010Hz AEG : 15Hz LA (Vv — 7000)
5. In play mode, check that the following figures are 60Hz LAA (V — 5000)
obtained at the beginning and at the end of the tape.
Speed deviation : 3,000Hz + 30Hz (V — 7000)
3,000Hz + 60Hz (V — 5000)
Speed drifting: with in 15Hz (V — 7000)
with in 60Hz (V — 5000)
