Preparation:
Press [(/l] to tum the unit on.
©The leader tape must be wound on beforehand (= page37).
Press [4 OPEN] on deck 2, and then insert the
tape with the exposed part of the tape facing
downward.
{tis better to use a tape slightly ionger than the CD playing time
when recording.
Close the holder.
To record in Dolby B NR;
Press [DOLBY NR] and check “O10 NR” is dis-
played.
Ei Press [REV MODE] to select the reverse mode.
pad One side will record, then recording will stop
automatically.
32), C22: Both sides will record (forward side—reverse side),
. then recording will stop automatically.
Set the tape travel direction.
To change the tape travel direction, first press [<3] or [>] on the
cassette deck, then [iil].
>: Recording from the forward side
<i: Recording from the reverse side
Press [4 OPEN/CLOSE] to load a CD.
Press [4 OPEN/CLOSE) again to close the tray.
Press [®@ REC PAUSE] to put the cassette deck
into the recording standby mode.
The playback indicators <J or > will start flashing.
1 you select “c=” in step [, the direction will automatically
change to “[*5" when you press [@ REC PAUSE].
Press [[>] on the CD player.
The recording will automatically start corresponding to the tape
travel direction,
Approximately 4 seconds after the CD finishes playing, the cassette
deck will automatically put recording on standby.
To stop recording:
®To add a 4 second silent interval before stopping
Press {I) on the CD player.
The cassette deck wil! go into the recording standby state.
®To stop recording without a silent interval
Press [ll] on the cassette deck.
The CD player does not stop.
To record programmed tracks 1]
@® Perform steps ——-[E above, and then press [CD] on the remote
control.
@® Press [PROGRAM] on the remote control.
® Select the track number from the remote control with the numeric
button(s).
@ Repeat step © until all desired tracks are programmed (max.
24 tracks).
